A Word Regarding the Present and Future

8 Nov

So it’s been a week since we joined Blog Red Machine and the FanSided Network. We promised that the news you received on this site would stay, but that anything we did on one blog wouldn’t happen on the other; basically, we won’t double-post.

Let us admit that the move, which was an ongoing process through the month of October, shifted our focus from our original site and rendered the ever-pledged update to “Dispatches from Peoria” pretty much moot. Needless to say, we’ve got some posts planned and want to clue you in.

With the AFL championship fast approaching, the Javelinas (16-9) have rebounded from a five-game losing streak by winning their last five and surging back to first place. Sporting an impressive 10-2 record at home, Peoria is 2.5 games ahead of their closest competitor Surprise and can clinch a playoff spot with a mix of five wins or Saguaro losses. Seven games remain in November and we’ll be covering the five games they’ve played in the next Dispatch. Meanwhile, outfielder Billy Hamilton and pitcher Curtis Partch participated in the prestigious Rising Stars Game on Saturday. That recap will immediately follow the Javelinas week in review and should be posted before Sunday.

Thanks again for your patience and don’t forget to read my first two articles on BRM.

Do the Louisville Bats Know Something We Don’t?
A suspicious tweet from the Bats account catches my attention. Whose name was dropped, and what does this mean for him?

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin

Homer (if that is your real name), I’ll tell you the same thing I told “Alphonse”:
First: H, H, H. There are my tags.

      Second:
      Here is text in bold.
      Here is text in italics.
      Here is text in both.

Furthermore, we don’t need an Alexa rank. We know we’re a niche area and that 10K people aren’t flocking to the site.

Though we promise to release a major update: Panda.
